How we started.
Urban Millwork NYC was founded in 2014 with a straightforward idea: build exceptional custom millwork and install it ourselves. No subcontractors. No handoffs. The same craftsmen who build your cabinetry are the ones who show up on your job site.
We work out of our Brooklyn shop, where every piece is designed, engineered, and built before it ever reaches your home or commercial space. Our clients include architects, interior designers, general contractors, and homeowners across the five boroughs and the Hamptons.
Over a decade in, we're still a focused operation — not a factory. That means every project gets the attention it deserves, and every client works directly with the people doing the work.

In-house everything
Design, production, and installation — all under one roof and one team. We don't subcontract any part of the process.

Every project starts with detailed shop drawings approved by the architect or client before a single board is cut.

We serve clients across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island — as well as the Hamptons and Long Island's East End. Our Brooklyn shop puts us at the center of it all.
